What is Morpheus8?
Morpheus8 is a revolutionary anti aging treatment that addresses some of the more common signs of aging, including complexion issues, fine lines and wrinkles, fat reduction, and skin laxity with little downtime. The first full-body procedure of its kind, Morpheus8 is more than just a microneedling device. It is a highly effective, non-invasive microneedling procedure that uses radio frequency to stimulate collagen production to target the deflation of soft tissue and tighten the skin.
How does Morpheus8 work?
Similar to a microneedling tool, Morpheus8 uses small micro-needles that penetrate the deeper layers of the skin, while also delivering radiofrequency heat. This triggers collagen and elastin production in the skin at a deeper level than only surface microneedling devices, and in turn tightens and rejuvenates the treated area.
During the procedure, our expert staff will use the handheld device to press into the treatment area, allowing microneedles to perforate the skin as they emit radiofrequency waves. You’ll feel a little bit of heat as we target the dermal skin layer, tighten the skin and target the stubborn fat below the surface, if needed. Sound painful? Don’t worry. ReNu Med Lounge offers topical numbing cream before your treatment to ensure your comfort, and for those of you who really need it, we do offer Pro-nox (a pneumatically driven gas system that delivers a 50% oxygen and 50% nitrous oxide mixture to patients for pain and anxiety relief in a medical setting).

The whole procedure takes less than two hours, including numbing and preparations.
After the treatment, you can expect some redness and swelling in the treated area(s) that should subside in a couple days. Make sure to follow after-care instructions provided during your visit.
